Gail has lead marketing for successive waves of emerging technology: mobile, social, cloud, and now artificial intelligence. At Palm, Inc. during the emergence of mobile computing for the enterprise, she focused on creating value for healthcare as well as field service and sales force automation. At SAP, her team led the development of the first SAP-branded social channels, which grew in number from 5 to 1,200 social accounts globally. While at SAP, she was a leader in the company’s adoption of digital marketing and it’s own digital transformation, which played a notable role in the company’s successful transition to becoming a dominant cloud company. Gail’s last role at SAP was VP of Web Marketing, leading the team that delivers’s 50 websites globally in 39 languages.

Earlier in her career, Gail was a consultant in the Retail Practice of McKinsey & Company in New York and played key roles in Brand Management and Demand Forecasting with Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco. She earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and her BA in Economics from Spelman College.

Gail is actively involved in giving back to her community through non-profit contributions. She serves on the Board of Juma Ventures, a national youth development social enterprise and is on the Advisory Board of Hidden Genius, an organization that prepares young men of color for careers in technology.
